Follow up - A New Dawn 3.4.2 (Patreon)

I used to do these posts quite regularly and I miss them. It was a great way to have a conversation with you all about the recently added content. 

This is your chance to affect the game. But keep in mind, I'm not going to blindly do everything that's suggested. That would really damage the story line and the game.

Paypig

So first off I want to ask about the balance of the paypig state. Does Victoria give away too much silver? Are you able to save up enough silver? When I made the 13 different levels I realized that once you reach 13 you will never have silver basically. Even though silver isn't that important in the game still might bug up some paths where Victoria has to pay. In future updates I was thinking that innkeeper could have a paypig scene too, he's one of the other characters in the game that's greedy. Reaching level 13 could force a bad ending and then remove the paypig trait or maybe reset it. 

Taxman

The punishment scene with tax man was meant to let Victoria skip seeing him completely a few days. Then come to his office either every third day to pay tax and if not he'll punish her and take the debt she's in. Is it still too often? I know a lot of you doesn't enjoy the repetitive scenes with him and making it optional was a good way to keep it fresh.  

Pregnancy

As for the pregnancy scenes, I'm going to add more random events and a milking scene in future updates with Victoria being pregnant and more focus on what it's like for her. Right now the pregnancy days doesn't show how I want it to be once it's done. Victoria will still be forced to stay in the dairy but she will be looked after by the milkmaids making it more obvious that she needs to stay until the child comes.

Future update master/slave

I'm going to rework the slave path in the next update. I was never really happy with how she was trained. I'm not going to remove scenes, just adding whipping and face slaps while Victoria is questioned daily by her other master. Once this is finished she will be joined with the main path but as a slave. Which means she would be sold to the orc city towards one of the masters. Bogwart could also be one of the possible masters since there's already some master/slave scene here. I know there's many who would want to see her as a slave to the innkeeper. But this would make it impossible for Victoria to save her mother, which would lead to another bad ending. If there isn't some way for her to slip out from her slave life. There's always a possible tho, not saying I'm not making this.

Dreams

I'm considering changing the number of days Victoria's mind is affected, from 1 to 3. such that she remembers what she has been exposed to. Which would work like this:

Day 1 Dance dream -> remember dance dream.

Day 2 Innkeeper, Victoria dreams a second time about dancing. -> remember innkeeper, slightly remembers dance dream.

Day 3 Prostitution, Victoria dreams a second time about Innkeeper and a third time about dancing. -> remember Prostitution, slightly remembers Innkeeper.

Day 4 Glory hole, Victoria dreams a second time about Prostitution and a third time about dancing Innkeeper. The dance dream is out of her memory. -> remember Glory hole, slightly remembers Prostitution.

And so on...

This would add another dream each night, so once Victoria start dreaming of something she will always dream of it the next three days. I could make so that she will always have three different dreams or that she could have the same. It all depends what is more preferable.
