Mondays with WhiteRaven #80 (Patreon)

This is going to be a short post, I'm alive at least last time I checked. I was hit by a pesky fever that lasted 2 weeks. It forced me to spend most my waken time in my bed. Doing normal day tasks is even harder since the damn corona thingy, it's even worse when you're sick... I'm healthy again and working to finish the last scenes with the tax man to release the new update. Depending on things my real life it might take a few more days before it's ready.

I did try to send some Patreon lens pictures with some text from my bed though I don't think they made it online with the bad news, to inform you all of my state since I had to say it on discord too. Writing a post here just saying. "I'm sick, no energy at all and my body feels like a truck ran over it TWICE!" Doesn't really seem like a good idea. At least it should contain more information. 

Anyway enough nagging about my sufferings! I did change the tax man quite a lot. Now you don't need to pay any taxes at all, you don't even need to see him. Though he will not take your absence good and it will lead to punishments later on. You can also decide how much silver you're going to give to the tax man when you visit him from 0 to all your silver and Victoria will react different depending on how much you give him same with the tax man. If you give away all your money you'll need to find a place that doesn't charge any silver.

Sleeping in the sewers will be an option and I'm going to let Victoria have second thoughts about sleeping at the inn too if she's completely broke. I'm also going to add an option to be idle just skipping all the work and go to sleep whenever you feel for it. 

I think these changes will give the game more freedom of choice and feel less forced. I have a feeling some think the works are pesky routines you need to do everyday to proceed in the game. I'm not sure what consequences there will be, being too idle, what do you think? Forced into doing dirty jobs? Maybe some scenes that are in the game already could be used for this, working at the glory hole is one option. Let me know what you think! I'm curious to see what punishment a lazy loafer deserves!
