“Totally discrete” LOL. I remember seeing this movie on its original release. No one had really done anything like it before and it was huge risk and an amazing success. It created an entire genre of comedy/horror that took off from there. As a teenage nerd (I was 14), it hit every beat I loved about movies: hilarious comedy, great FX (for the time), science fiction, and the supernatural. It’s billed as a comedy/horror, but it was never horror in my mind. It’s just a rollicking good time and it was a blast to watch it again.

Also, be very happy you’ve never had a Twinkie. Those and Zingers, while a staple of childhood snacks in the 70s and 80s, were absolutely terrible for you. I ate a ton of them. I also age at 1/4 the rate of a normal human and when I die, my inevitably cancer ridden corpse will last as long as radioactive waste. LOL
