Real dried beef which is used is tough and EXPENSIVE to find; my Mother in law used Budding's beef lunch meat, at 99 cents a package, at Ralph's, to this day....sliced thin, then a whole milk/ roux gravy with some seasonings.....OVER a baked potato!! heck you say?? to toast?? pour that over a small baked steaming potato... NUM NUMMMM
