Cinderella Man misrepresented Max Baer so horribly it's tragic. He was never a "killer" ever in his life. After hearing of Frankie Cambpell's death the day after their match he was inconsolable and it haunted him the rest of his life. He was certainly a showman in the ring but was a consummate sportsman. Craig Bierko is a great actor but that script by pretentious hack Akiva Goldsman (he fucking wrote Batman & Robin, people) was a terrible disservice to his legacy. But I guess you have to have a tangible "villain" for a crowd pleasing movie. The Depression wasn't enough
