It is a Pennsylvania German breakfast meat that is way better than spam. It is the remaining smaller pieces of meat left over from butchering a pig that can’t be turned into a specific cut of meat finely ground up with corn meal and spices that is made into bricks the size of a meatloaf (usually weighing about 1 pound). When you go to cook it, you slice the brick and fry it up. Multiple condiments can be used, I prefer smothering it in syrup and letting it sit for a few minutes to soak up the flavors of the syrup.
