Great show today. I was listening to you talk about the "places to visit in Philly" podcast and I had a thought. What if you did that topic as an interview segment? Call a couple if your celebrity acquaintances who are fellow brothers and sisters of Philadelphia and do a interview about what you all love and recommend back home. It would also be a great intro to the people for future one-on-one interview segments.

Hey Ralph, I appreciate you talking about the whole redskins subject. As a Native American, I've battled the American Indian caricature and other entertainment representations most of my life. I find it incredibly offensive that there is still a team in 2018 that goes by the redskins. I've always been proud of my heritage and am sure to claim it on any questionnaire or survey since my people are not well represented. I distinctly remember in school I had a teacher call my mom, who is also Native American, and tell her that I needed to change my race to something else on my standardized testing. She had the gall to say it was because I didn't look Native American to her. I'm sorry I don't run around with feathers in my hair and wearing buckskin. We have our tribal enrollment number proving our race (also, what other group has to register to prove their race?). We don't need to play dress up to make a stranger happy. Native Americans are still widely marginalized. By not changing the redskins name it further marginalizes and profits off the Native American people.
