To my American friends, of which there are literally some. I hope 'y'all' (cultural reference #1) have a root'n toot'n (cultural reference #2) good time on Americas proudest day when you kicked our limey ( (cultural reference #3) asses out and declared independence so you can .....hamburgers, create democracy, create freedom, Bon Jovi, baseball, apple pie etc (cultural reference #4, #5#6#7#etc) The British Empire was the most powerful ever and now we are embarrassed, repressed and crap so well done youse guys, you made us feel inadequate....enjoy your cook out and know that we wish we were as confident as you guys are

Nice to meet more fans of John Waite. Saw him play in Melbourne a few months back. Got to meet him before the show too. Real nice dude. I have to say, his best work was in the short-lived band Bad English with Neal Schon from Journey. “When I See You Smile” was one of the greatest power ballads of its time, and potential candidate for One-Hit Wonder Wednesday.
