DNA cannot tell you where you are from geographically or your "race". These companies use markers found in DNA and compare them to markers found in other people who have submitted their DNA along with their location and markers historically found in specific places to create a very lose guide for assigning location to DNA traits. Having a trait that is also found predominately in sub-Sahara Africa, in no way means you have any genetic link to sub-Sahara Africa, but you displayed a trait that their algorithm identified as common in that place.

TLDR: The test just tells you have DNA markers common with people in a certain place, not that you or any of your ancestors are actually from that place.
