They completely messed up the voices with who signs them for Wake Up lmao. They got almost all of them wrong

Welcome to Dream is such a good Intro. It really sets the mood for the album. I can imagine how fans of Minx felt hearing that as their first introduction to Dreamcatcher. It would have been a huge shock. Emotion is a great "ballad" and the lyrics really speak to the uncertainty that they felt with their transition from Minx to Dreamcatcher. The special clip is live vocals and is really good. My Toys is still my favorite Intro. The atmosphere it sets with the heavy breathing, the approaching footsteps, and then the heavy knocks on the door put me in the headspace of someone who's trying to hide from someone's who after them. Then that heavy breakdown hits and it's just pure adrenaline, until you get to the toybox ending that leads into Good Night. I definitely see the similarities with the Dynasty Warrior OSTs. I really like Lullaby for the imagery in the lyrics. They're trying to get the listener to go back to sleep because that's the only time they have with them, because they only see them in their dreams. Before & After, as it's on the Prequel album, mixes their Minx & Dreamcatcher sounds while introducing some new electronic elements that foreshadow Sleep-Walking. Wake Up is one of my least favorite Dreamcatcher songs. I still love it and it's a great hype song, but it lacks the dynamics that most of the songs have that I really enjoy. It was used as their encore song for a while after it came out. Sleep-Walking hits me like the My Toy's did you. It's very nostalgic and reminds me of sitting in an arcade playing racing games like Cruising USA. This genre of music is primarily Drum & Bass, but it's got EDM and Trap elements as well. Trust Me/It's Okay is one of my favorite earlier ballads. It's gorgeous and I think this was when the producers realized that they could weaponize Handong's deeper, richer tone in areas where the music cuts away and it's just her voice as the focal point. Her voice gets used like this a lot going forward and they're some of my favorite parts in their songs. I agree with what you said at the end. Dreamcatcher's strength, in my opinion, is that they can do every genre at the same level of quality as they do their title tracks. Talent plays a big role in that, but I think it's mostly due to them never giving less than 100% on anything they do. Title tracks, b-sides, covers, choreo, interactions with fans, concerts, they always pour all of themselves into everything they do and it shows. Looking forward to Escape the Era next. Also, if you wanted to listen to the title tracks again, you could always include dance practices, performance videos, or concert performances in place of the studio version. Enjoy!

Oh really dang. I noticed some weirdness but I thought i was wrong lol. It just shows that I'm not completely used to their voices yet

That is an amazing idea to react to a concert or performance video in place of the studio version for title tracks
