idk if anyone told you yet but this show is based on a webtoon, and season 1 of the show is technically the backstory of Yeon Sieun, which is only briefly shown in the Webtoon (a few chapters). So the creator of the show chose to expand that and tell the full story (thankfully), and there are quite a lot of differences (for example, Suho and Bumseok’s characters are quite different) but both versions of the story are really great and very well-loved. Season 1 actually ends right at the scene of the start of the Webtoon, which is quite interesting esp since the show was originally supposed to be just one season but since it was received so well season 2 became possible. btw, one of the actors recently revealed season 2 is coming out January 2025 :)
