Some very sad news. Professor Refaat al-Areer, who we spoke with last month for podcast episode 200 from Gaza, has sadly been killed by an Israeli airstrike today. His brother, sister, and her four children were also killed in the bombing.

It is so demoralizing to see the retribution assassinations on doctors or those that shed light on what is happening. Seeing whole families wiped out and the US democrats just play lip service really lifts the veil on those in office. I’m voting for whoever is the anti war candidate, regardless of party affiliation.

Seeing a final year on his Wikipedia page made the world go silent for a minute. Such a generous voice. Not a whisper of malice or revenge in his interview. Just a gracious plea for peace and humanity.
