ELMINSTER’S MYSTERIOUS DROW APPRENTICE (Patreon)

Hail and well met!

After years behind an NDA (nondisclosure agreement), I am finally able to talk about  Susprina Arkenneld, Elminster's apprentice, and the subject of much speculation from fans of the Realms. The image above is from the 2nd Edition official game accessory that I penned, The Drow of the Underdark. In it, you see Elminster smoking his pipe as he gazes toward the observer, and next to him, partly submerged in the water and holding out a wine glass, is the figure of a drow female. As I wrote in the introduction for this accessory so long ago, this is Susprina Arkenneld. Sadly, other than informing the reader that she was an apprentice of Elminster, not much else was revealed about her at the time, and nothing has been released about her since.

Ever since, people have been asking about Susprina, and finally, after the long-overdue lifting of the NDA preventing me from speaking about her, and after piecing together my notes into the following write-up and video, I gleefully share with you Susprina's origins as well as where she is now!

It was important to me that I make this post widely available based on the large number of requests I've gotten about Susprina over the years, so I hope this helps to satisfy some of your burning questions about this previously mysterious figure in the Realms!
