Some sketches and concept for Silence 3 (Patreon)

I hope to start soon this damned 3rd issue of my zine. Concepts and storyboard are done, just have to start, but my current life make things a bit tricky to be able to dive in this big project.

Anyway some words about it and especially the main character of this story. It's a reccurent character I draw not that often but for years now, and it's time for her to rise. She is that old Vampire queen, you already saw here 2 times. Here some old sketches from about 6 years old.

I didn't know at all why I draw a such unusal character, but body and time are often the core at some point, of my projects. Here another one and even animated (hope it works here, let me know).

Later I did some oil pastel drawings with the same character, which was more close of what I wanted.

And this other one give me the idea to make my vampire story in a SF mood.

There, are some more recent quick sketches for defining again some stuff for a closer final aspect of this character in my next comic. No hair, very long neck, gnarled muscles, sagging breasts, lot of wrinkles, and aureole crown, while trying to keep something attractive, is her subtle balance, I will try to do the best I can

So in a kind of conclusion, she is a character which live in my mind for a while, and who represents some very important meanings for me at several levels. And I will try now to draw her, her own cosmic story and fate.
