Sorry for delayed devlog and build, but we're getting close! We promise, we should be able to provide a beta build before end of August for you all to enjoy, and the full release in the first few days of September.

So, whats new?

We've been implementing the new quest for Scylla arc, sadly the final fight will be WIP, similar to the final fight in the castle, since we still need to update our combat up to where we are happy with it.

There lot's of small new implementations to make for better immersion like sleeping sprites for our party, swimming sprites, new night filters for locations... Not all locations will have night version and it's mostly used for quests. (don't mind window looking weird, we'll fix that eventually).

As you may have noticed from the screenshot, this is the first quest that was fully implemented directly in game using our new quest editor. It's still a little rough around the edges, but fully functional and allows us to test and edit the quests in real time while playing. Of course this also means that you can edit our quests yourself if you feel like it, although it's probably quite hard to learn to use. The main goal is for us to make quest editing faster and easier.

Just like Samara and Hiho 2nd scene, Scylla's has 3 animated CGs and slightly more intimate atmosphere, along with a few more static images. Zlasova put some hard work to make animations smooth and lively, so we don't want to show too much not to spoil for you. 

Writing and art staff already working on the future update, we decided on a release plan that we will rotate main story and side-story updates, so next build will advance further into main story, and we will learn about mysterious figures behind Kaldean politics. But because that story quest will not get us a love scene, we will in parallel make an update to the brothel story-line after we helped out Terri. Which girl we get intimate with is a secret for now :P

As for even more deeper future plans.

Osh'to arc update will come after it, but that's further into the future. We hope to finish those two updates (not including current scylla update) this year ideally, though as it happened before hiccups in production can happen. We have taken steps to make it more streamlined, such as the new quest editor mentioned earlier.

Again our apologies for the delays, we are working hard to catch up. Stay tuned for the future devlogs as we will dive more into more mechanic and combat upgrades after Scylla update.
