Recommendation: Overgrown: Genesis (Patreon)

Hey everyone, we have a new recommendation for you this month!

If you are into solid exploration RPG’s with active world based combat, lewd narrative scenes and precarious sexual encounters with foes (and even a few Game Over special scenes), then Overgrown Genesis from Dystopian Project is a solid game and great experience.

Genesis stars Juno, a talented electrical engineer caught up in what appears to be a zombie apocalypse but develops into something much deeper. With the survivors struggling to procure enough food and water and their last vestiges of society crumbling around them… Juno is forced to leave the crumbling sanctuary and its tenuous safety to restore the nearby electrical grid. From here, things spiral rapidly out of control in a well written high stakes salacious adventure.

So what’s the game got?

Story choices that lead to different outcomes, narrative erotic scenes where you can choose whether you want your Juno as a girl who reluctantly gives in to some kinky situations, or fights back keeping her dignity. It’s your choice how to play Juno when it comes to narrative scenes and nothing feels cheap or taken from you.

Scavenging, exploration, survival. On your outings, you must find your supplies and balance Juno’s needs. Morale, health, hunger, and infection all play a role in the lewd scenes for the game… for better or worse.

Lewd scenes with humans and monstrosities as well as an interesting infection system which if balanced properly will keep you from game overs (unless you head into a swarm!). It might sound daunting, but it’s quite an intuitive and easily forgiving system. Delve through the ruins of society, discover the secrets behind the troubling infection and the multiple parties vying to shape what the world will be for humanity after recovering… or if humanity ever rises again.

At a glance:

• Plant tentacles.
• Corruption, as Juno is “exposed” to the infected humans and other beings she becomes more and more.
• Monster sex.
• Gang bangs, monster sexy, coercion, blackmail, dubious consent. The monsters may be monstrous, but the story shows how monstrous humans can be.
• Overworld shooter mechanics, which while simple, are effective with upgrade paths.
• A strong story with several twists, with characters who have their own past and motivations. There are a few points where you have real consequences.
