What I had in mind so far was multiple sprite sheets the player would fade into for a slow digestion progression
But that would make it look like anything Pherl eats just dies immediatelly, just now I had the idea that there could be 2 types of sprite sheets for her: full with something living, and just full
But that would create other issues, like, there are a smooth progression between full and slim, but if she haves something moving inside she would need a variation for every belly size and prey's state

I also thought that prey stopping movemet could be an indication for the player that she can spit their bones and skull now

I do like solving this logic issues myself but I wanted to see if you have any idea

I like the quick digestion of the queen bee. Maybe a bit of both if you can make it make sense

I like the idea that you have going on now where they digest almost instantly. But I'm sure that there are people here upsessed with big bellies. In my opinion, I think you should do what you did before where it looks slim but could still see some prey movement for a little bit.

There are many ways you could do this. You could have a floating bubble that shows the person on the inside melting into mush. It could be something you toggle on and off, like in Echidna Wars. This way, belly size could remain the same for whatever prey is inside. I personally love seeing cutaways ON the belly, but that has to be done carefully.

I've seen that in some H games at the corners of the screen there are a full illust of your characters to show her states like wounded, low health and such Maybe I could make something similar I thought about making x ray for the prey but that would prevent the player having multiple at once I think
