Content

Sorry I haven't been able to provide much content lately - I'm sure I've mentioned before I've been working on contract work, and one of the recent ones has been a 32-page fully illustrated children's book. This is very much outside of my comfort zone, but it pays well, so I'm hoofing through it despite the learning curve.

Wouldn't be so much of a struggle if I wasn't recently set with a "by Nov. 1st" deadline last week when I had only bare sketches done, so I've been working on this steadily to try and make the deadline, which leaves very little room for other work.

I managed to squeeze in time for that YGO artwork last week for my sanity XD but now it's back to boring work.

As proof of what I've been doing, here's some glimpses of a few pages of work - but likely I won't be posting any of the finished stuff here, nor will I be mentioning the book title or author. To be honest I'd rather not have my name on the book at all since my usual preferred work is best kept under an Alias, and I don't want anything I do for 'normal' work to lead back to here for my own safety and comfort.

The book likely won't go very far outside of private collections anyways, but it's hard for me to judge what my client is planning on a good day, so... yeah just gonna keep safe and quiet on it.

Hopefully I'll get the work done, get the full payment, and be back to my regular schedule - hopefully! Crossing fingers on this one.

Wow that's pretty cool! Shame about the stressful aspects of it though haha... Here's hoping it all goes well indeed!
