It’s been a while, we miss our friends and family. Thank you to everyone who continues to stick with us through it all. We have several ongoing farm projects and music projects in the queue. Been working hard on music and have completed recording Ricardo Velasquez-Blessings from God Album. Morgan has been working and project planning since January to build a new greenhouse to bring more wintertime produce to our community located in a food desert. She applied for two competitive grants (the LOR Foundation and The Fruitguys Fund US) to fund the Solar Powered Hydronic Greenhouse Project. We received both grants focusing on innovative concepts in conservation focused on soil & water conservation, preservation of wildlife, growing in harsh inhospitable conditions and food scarcity. Morgan’s project will address all of these issues. We will be documenting our progress and sharing here with our Patrons. This project and producing our newest music this year will cost much more to complete than the actual funding we will receive and our income combined. We plan on utilizing our skills in repurposing, up cycling and making something out of nothing to get it all done by Dec 15, 2023. We’ve got plenty of dirt and fertilizer. With these grants we will have solar water access (goodbye gas generator and pull cord), extended growing space, food storage and access to HOT WATER! A shower and water to flush a toilet. One step closer to an indoor bathroom. Reality check: We haven’t had on demand running water or hot water since 2016. Newborn + No Water = 💩x ♾️

It was really shitty! I’m trying to imagine what it will feel like when we finally turn that little knob to let the water find its way to the surface. What will it sound and smell like first time powering up the solar cell to bring that water 200 ft. up and out to its first resting place? The generator motor and gasoline smell linger in my brain. Now that things have calmed down, wounds have healed and our sweet boys 🐐 are now living in their golden years…It is time to use our two best assets 🧠 💪🏼 and make 🏔️ move again. Someone recently said, “You’re so Lucky”. Another said, “The funny thing about luck is that it is often disguised as hard work.” To that I say two things can be true. We are blessed everyday in new ways and we learn so much from the hard days and from each other. We are happy to grow together and appreciate all the love and support! ❤️❤️❤️
