Gentle Voice is a song we wrote during our last trip to song school at Folks Festival in Lyrons, CO over 6 years ago. We never finished it until now and we've reworked the lyrics entirely to fit our now brains. Here's a work in progress. Not sure if we've ever played this song live outside of song school once at group songwriting class in 2014.  Finally got around to recording it.  This is a semi finished version, usually I do Abe's harmonies ahead of time so he can come back and know what goes where, so ultimately there will only be one of me singing in the final song, which we will post here for our Patrons to download also.  So download all the songs, burn them and share with whoever you think might enjoy them.  Our garden and Life Album will have 14 songs on it. These songs are ones we wrote yesterday and ones we wrote 7 years ago. We've been moving as fast and calculated as we can while trying to keep the creative spirit alive.  We had one of our favorite pieces of equipment say its final good bye to us with a buzz and a snap.  Farewell to the old M-Audio interface from my college days. Thanks ma! I remember walking into guitar center with you and asking the desk guy what do you recommend? He mentioned a bunch of stuff including auto tune to which you quickly replied, "That's cheating!"  We tested the mic out and the M-Audio looked simple enough for me to operate.  The mic was a very good mic and still is.  Many of the instruments you will be hearing on our new album will be recorded with it.  Many late nights and early mornings before working at the coffee house came and went with those sweet little electronic boxes by my side.  I'm sad to see it go and really excited for the future of gear love.  (keep you posted!) This little breakdown has set us back 2-5 days shipping but we have been continuing with physical editing and keeping busy finalizing the artwork and upload to our distributor.  We may need to rework our game plan a bit since we seem to finish creations in clusters.  We are still working on a music video for July and August and we're hoping that by narrowing our focus to the album we will have the time directly after to create a cluster of music videos for everyone to enjoy this month as well.  Meanwhile the garden is growing strong in real life and we've also been busy harvesting and watering at night.  We've got 6 giant Jewel "orb"spiders making beautiful webs around that are also terrifying to stumble into.  These are the true spiders of Charlotte's Web and they're golf ball sized!  The chicken flock is doing good, everyone is molting so they look neglected but it's just in time for fresh new fall feathers to come in.  Some similar news!.....We'll be adding our old tune "little chickee" to our Songs for Wild Children Album...coming in December!!!
