This kid is so much fun! His reactions to even the smallest things are so sweet! We spent the day resting after doing a bit of spring cleaning yesterday and a lot of computer work the entire last month. It was a graceful and quiet transition into 2020. We fell asleep early after watching the New Year’s countdowns in Dubai, Japan and London live on YouTube . It was a good time and we even managed to sneak in a quick jam session New Year’s Day. Somehow the house stayed a little warmer that night. The animals seemed more content. Today we canned beets, cabbage and carrots and watched as many episodes of call the midwife as we could fit in. Izzy likes the montages. We ended up doing a little bit of work somehow that snuck itself in there last minute and then Abe went back to his work in food justice. Izzy and I finished our active part of the day with 4 wheel barrow rides to get wood and laying down hay for the goats in their barn so they can chow down all night. It’s been -30 out here some nights. Which seems relatively warm after -57. Summer will be glorious with all the moisture we’ve had. We’re looking forward to the approach of warm weather and growth. We hope everyone is staying warm out there and Happy New Year!
