OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEO!!! Early Release Rights! (Patreon)

It’s the 28th and as promised we are releasing our newest music video and first Patron funded video! Here’s our new song ‘Everything’ and brand new official music video. We really appreciate all your support and we hope everyone enjoys this video! When we wrote this song we were thinking about our dear friend Josh “Butters” who passed away very unexpectedly which has left us in shock and sort of grief limbo for the past few years. We also lost several other loved ones all around the same time just before and It’s been so hard knowing how to put all those complex emotions into words. We really wanted our song to be something everyone could relate to since grief and memories are part of the human condition after all. 

Butters was that super creative, crazy, lovable and charismatic person. He was the kind of friend who was deeply understanding of everyone. He knew how to make everyone feel unconditionally loved. He was wonderfully flawed, unique and unpredictable. He had been thrown from his car one time and survived, we were reminded every time we saw the scar that wrapped around his bald head. The accident made him have seizures sometimes, I think sometimes it made him angry. He was very strong willed, independent yet volatile and fragile. Maybe that’s why we all felt so compelled to worry about him. Butters was an artist, he left a wake of creative productions in his path. Before he died he asked us to help him find his bronze statue of Paul the dreadlocked hackey sack player in motion atop a pile of gears. He left it at a friends’ house who had given it away to someone before she passed away. We haven’t been able to locate Butters’ sculpture and it has left us feeling incomplete somehow, like we never solved the mystery and now he’s gone and it’s too late. We just miss our friend and everything he stood for. We have so many fond memories... celebrating, laughing, arguing, creating, talking, making music, that one time he ran for city council, his tall bike that he welded together himself. He was always down to participate in whatever crazy schemes we cooked up, it was validating and nice to be understood. He used to tell us we were the best couple he knew and we would be great parents. We appreciated the vote of confidence before we had even started to plan having a family. After everything, we always imagined that one day we’d get to introduce him to our little IzMan. What can we say really... he was a great friend and we miss him everyday after everything that’s happened. Still. Always.
