Naked bringing back memories (Patreon)

Lots of memories have been getting stirred up as we’re finishing up our song “everything” which was inspired by our dear friend Butters “Josh” who we lost the unexpectedly and have had a hard time coming back from the heartache of the loss. Our song “Naked” always brings up fond memories of Butters because he would always jump up even in the most somber of crowds and proceed to take his clothes off while dancing and singing. He was crazy! That’s what we loved about him and his ability to love unconditionally.

My favorite “Butters/Naked” incident was at our annual Thanksgiving concert at The Villa Grove Trading Post where Butters did his nakifying routine during “naked” and as he was spinning his shirt above his head he began inadvertently grazing my brother in-law In the face with his sweaty, stained, old, ripped tee that most likely hadn’t been washed in days... possibly weeks. Later my brother in-law began telling us of his encounter remarking, “Who was that crazy sweaty guy?” Lol! That’s Butters!
