I've been eagerly waiting for your reaction to this episode, which is my favorite of the season. First, I love the opening scene where all his friends are there for Matteo and wanting to help David. They may even be a better friend group than in the OG, and that's saying a lot. And the final scene is the only one of all the remakes I've seen that comes close to working as well as the final scene of the OG episode 9, by being the most different from it. One of the things that makes the OG scene so perfect is that it's done with only three words being spoken; in this version there is a lot of dialogue, and there needs to be. As you said, it's totally appropriate to these two characters, and it tells us things we need to hear to understand David's story. This episode is a lot of why this is by far my favorite of the remakes.

Matteo is such a unique and loveable character. Def my fave remake as well, I love that they went a different direction with the Even character and made it their own but it still feels like Skam
