The Michaela hate get so uh, frustrating haha. It's more than okay not to like a character but you have to think of how overwhelmed she must feel in that situation. Especially with her strong personality traits, she's having a meltdown, just like Connor is. Connor was also placing blame on people but you didn't say anything about that, but as soon as Michaela does it's WW3? I love watching your reactions to this show, because its so great I just had to comment on the Michaela hate because it gets a bit much sometimes. You've gotta try and think of why the characters are acting out that way, it helps give you more understanding. Michaela and all the characters have great character development. These 'annoying' traits are important to be able to grow. :) Anyway... that's my two cents. No hate towards you, just an opinion. I look forward to seeing your reactions to future episodes!

I could see Connor being just as annoying as Michaela (cough cough Connor S3) and not getting nearly as much hate as Michaela does right now. I just think straight white people in general shouldn't watch How to get away with murder, not if they're gonna be this negative about one of the black characters, taking into consideration that the show's demographic is POC (mostly black) and LGBT+. And I'm sorry but Michaela's reaction is by far the most reasonable out of all of them, considering they just commited murder.

1. i don’t know who told you i was straight but that’s a huge ass assumption. 2. im gonna tell you this now and it stands for any future content you ever see from me because quite frankly im tired of hearing it. race has absolutely ZERO impact on any of my opinions and it never will. i do not care what colour a characters skin colour is, if i find a character annoying than that’s what they are to me. if i find them enjoyable then i find them enjoyable. the fact that michaela is black is beyond irrelevant. she could be white and id hate her just as much. she’s annoying to me bc she has a horrible personality, shes a know it all, she has frustrating tendencies, she’s rude, and she just doesn’t have story that i find enjoyable. its a combination. does connor do annoying things? YES, THEY ALL DO. but they have redeeming factors in my eyes. connor is funny and has enjoyable story. michaela doesn’t in my opinion. stop making everything about race. my opinion on a character is based on a prospective that comes from storytelling, and character traits, and that’s all there is to it.

i understand that completely. and of course! its fine to leave your opinion, that’s what the comment section is here for :) i know tons of people like her but i also think it’s important to keep in mind that many of you are well in to the show so you’ve grown to like her character and you’ve seen plenty more from her. as of now in the show (season 1, where i am at) i just don’t find much enjoyment in her character. i know other characters do similar things, like connor sometimes places blame and things like that, but to me his character makes up for it with being funny and having a really intriguing story. but im not saying there’s no hope for me to like michaela in future seasons. i didnt like asher AT ALL at first and now i LOVE him, so there’s always room for change in my eyes. my reactions are just in the moment as im watching, so keep that in mind. thank you for watching, i cant wait to continue :)

Hey Alex. Just wanted to say it was great that you stood up for yourself there in regards to the comment that your above comment is a response to. You're right, that was a big ass assumption and a little bit rude in terms of a comment. Considering I don't watch the show I don't have any feelings towards Michaela yet. Plus, it's hard for me to gauge her character just based off of what's shown of the reactions in your reaction videos. I just wanted to say don't let comments like that get to you. You handled it well and responded with a respectful response and I even liked it. So, I'm not saying you did the wrong thing by responding just to be clear. It's ok if you did. All I'm saying is don't dwell on it and don't let it bother you too much. Peace and happy holidays!!!
