A Year in Review (Patreon)

Hello my favourite subscribers! Holy crap, can you believe it? I posted my first video to YouTube on December 29, 2022, assuming this would be a fun little side project, because I wanted to practice doing some voice acting. The first few videos (which are no longer available on YouTube but which I think I'll make available for all of you as some fun bonus content) were some meditation videos.  They were... Not great. But hey, they were a start.

But it was on January 24th, when I posted the Falling Asleep on your Gamer Boyfriend that things really started changing. I had stumbled on the ASMR Roleplay subgenre at around the same time that I was going to start doing YouTube, but was way too shy to post my first video. But after a lot of anxiety and getting over myself, I posted it, and like all my videos before it, it just kinda... sat there.  Until a couple of weeks later, when things just started blowing up...

Anyway, that was 12 months ago now, and I cannot believe just where things have ended up since then. A total of 55 videos published on YouTube, going from 30 odd subscribers (friends and family!) to over 7,800 today, launching my Patreon in April before I knew what I was doing, to having full fledged character arcs, having improved my voice acting skills, editing skills, social media management skills, data management skills, etc etc etc.

And most of it is honestly thanks to YOUR amazing contributions. I cannot express my true gratitude for your incredible generosity, especially in times which are difficult for many. It's because of your support and contributions that I am motivated to do better, go bigger and be better. I've turned around and used your contributions to improve the software that I use, pay other voice actors for their talents, and to help me invest the time to make truly quality and premium content.

I am actually SO excited for the year ahead. From new characters, the launch of hypnosis content (VERY SOON!), expanded story arcs, and a whole lot more, I'm so excited to be able to take this journey because of YOU.  So, THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart, Xander's heart, Daddy Bear's heart, and all the new characters and creations.

I've also really enjoyed getting to connect with many of you, so please feel free to continue commenting and messaging, because I really do this for all of you. This is our little journey together, and being able to tell these stories rooted in my own personal ethos is such a privilege and an honour.

I know this is a bit of a ramble at this point, so thank you for indulging me.  I've had some good time to rest this month, and I'm going to enjoy relaxing for the rest of the year, but I have some super exciting plans for the short and medium term which I will share with you all very soon.
