Q. wasen t the anniversary on march 23?

A. No. The anniversary was March 21st. I specifically checked this and realized that I had the wrong date. I know that many developers deliberately make the project take a long time so that patrons pay money for air. I know that there are many lazy developers who do nothing but continue to get paid. I know that some developers suddenly (but quite often) start getting sick, etc. and often this is not true. I myself once fell ill with coronavirus and one day I was forced to move to another house due to personal reasons. This kept me from working for several days, but that was all. I'm always working on a project and updates are always coming out. This time there was a lot of work and even now there are some things. This update is primarily focused on developers to finish and fix everything that distracted them from quiet development in normal mode. Thanks to this and some other events, this version (0.5.0) will be the last version that we have been developing for a long time. It is thanks to this work that the time begins for a new approach to development, more frequent updates, and mainly the storyline. A year has passed since the birth of "Pies 'n' Apples" and having completed version 0.0.4 (now the version numbers are in order) and we received our small audience, created polls/voting/, asked questions, read reviews and advice, tried to find ways to work faster and easier and now everything is back to normal. The new version is a turning point in the history of our project. We have improved not only the game itself, but also changed the approach to development. This is very important for the developer and for the players. The fact is that our idea is to release updates every 1-1.5 months and that is what we are striving for. Also, everything is crystal clear with us, you can always (and almost at any time of the day) ask us any questions about the game/progress/etc on our Discord (link in pinned post).

We always have someone who can communicate with you almost 24/7. We really communicate with subscribers (and not only) and we really are almost always in touch.

At the moment we are still working. Guys, let's be realistic and speak honestly, we are very, very VERY grateful to you for your support, but miracles do not happen. We always work, it's not difficult. Some developers often say that “Despite all the horrors of development, we still bravely continue to work with all our might...”, and maybe they really have such a situation, but I (as the developer of “Pies 'n' Apples”) speak for myself, development is not that difficult. The main problem is free space for everyone and the number of people involved in development. And of course, the developer’s interest in his project is important. We don’t have enough people (we need another artist) and we don’t always have enough time (but we work every day, even if it’s 1-2 hours). The main thing is that we are not sitting in the pockets of patrons, but we really work and are very passionate about our project. This gives us every chance to successfully complete the project in the future and you will get a completely cool game. However, if for some reason you decide to stop supporting “Pies 'n' Apples”, you can always do so. You don't have to worry about us being offended, etc. This is Patreon, buddies. You don't owe anyone anything. Today you could support us, and tomorrow you can change your mind. We are all adults and understand everything perfectly. But the release will be released only after its completion. You are free patrons and you have no obligations to us, but we have one obligation to the players (only one, but it is there), we must release a quality product. This is exactly what we are working on.

By the way, you could help the project by promoting it on the Internet. For example, you found our game on some website, you can write a comment, leave a review, give a rating, etc. This helps the project a lot, and for you it is 100% not difficult. This helps people find our game faster on websites, shows that people like the game, etc. I’ll give you an example, this is one of the reviews left by “Mr. No Name” on the “Bla Bla Bla” website:

"Wow I did not expect this game to be so good. I held off on downloading this for quite a while, because of the low version number and the <50 likes I thought this would be a short intro with almost no content, as you see it often with RPG maker games, but there is actually 3-4h of content.

While it's not 100% my fetish it's not off-putting either. And while I praised several games here to be high quality, this game seems on a whole other level, the custom graphics are amazing. Reminds me of old school point'n click games. Can't wait to see how the story advances from here on. It's been a while since the last update, although not so long as to lose hope."

Do you see? The person was doubtful because he/she saw “the <50 likes”. And there are many such examples.

I don't want to look like a beggar asking for likes, etc. but I just want you to know, like, repost, comment, review, rating is very important and really helps the project.

Thanks buddies.

Now I will continue to make Greta more beautiful and see you later).
