Basically skullshatter and misha have the same kind of arts so only the grenade launcher would work with their arts. A pistol would be significantly harder reason being is firearms are very difficult to control and use with arts. There are lore behind guns and the reason why exia has one is cause shes an angel (Sankta). I can explain in more detail if you wish. She knows skullshatter cause they met last episode. As for the big black circle it was the guy but amiya stopped it with her arts. Cryptic with the foreshadowing. Hoshiguma with her hanya getting healed she took a big hit. Hoshi isnt free unfortunately. This was a sad episode. Ya Amiya pierced right through the shell skullshatter was going to detonate so he couldnt use it but the second one went straight through his body. 1 more episode for this season, looking forward to it.
