Finally got to the first Garden of Sinners movie I have not seen any of. Going in as blind as you now Cryptic. So here is what I'm getting from the movie so far. Shiki had two personalities, SHIKI the male and Shiki the female, and we saw both of those in movie 2 which is why she kept changing how she was acting. I think SHIKI is the presumed murderer and the one who tried to kill Miyaka at the end of movie 2 which led into this movie. After the accident SHIKI is gone and now Shiki had the Mystic Eyes of Death Perception. I dont think the puppet is active? We know Shiki gets a puppet arm by movie 1 because of the events of movie 3 thou, and it seems like movie 3 and 1 are after 4 since she has the eyes. I do get how the eyes work since the MC from Tsukihime also has them, basically the yes lets her see lines of death which are the weakest point on a thing, and she can cut those lines to break or kill the thing. The eyes are tied to her soul so even if she losses her physical eyes she can still see the lines of death. So the guy at the end, Souren, I'm guessing hes the big bad since he seems to have been in contact with the antagonists for movie 3 and 1.

Oh that's really exciting that you're going to be experiencing this and the upcoming movies for the first time through my reactions! Also your analysis definitely makes sense and I think there's more to be learned for sure with these upcoming movies. Simply because of the way the order is, there's always some piece of information we'll find later on which we can connect back to the older movies and that makes it even more interesting
