So yeah, Shiro Kotomine was a fake name, his real name is Amakusa Shiro Tokisada a Japanese Saint and a Heroic Spirit summoned as a Ruler Servant in the Third Holy Grail War Sixty Years Ago who somehow survived. To clear any confusion Vlad's 2nd Noble Phantasm turns him into the Vampire Dracula. The character of Dracula was inspired by the brutal ways Vlad III killed his enemies, thus when Vlad became a heroic Spirit he became tied to the legend of Dracula which is more famous than his true self.The reason Darnic fused with him is that Darnic used a command seal to make Vlad absorb his soul. Also Ruler servants have two command spells per servant in the war they are summoned in so that they can administer the war. The guys in that room after all the servants of red stopped were their masters, Shiro took there command seals which is why they all freaked out as they had a new master.

Yea there was just so much happening in such a short amount of time with all the avengers gathering up then shirou revealing himself and destroying Vlad to the point that heartbeat scene didn't even bug me anymore cuz there were bigger things to worry about. But that info is actually so cool so thanks for explaining 🙌❤️

Remember in Fate/Zero about vampires, and ghouls. You'd be surprised to know how powerful they are, especially their 27th top rankings, and the even then, those without those rankings are entirely terrifying to shit. You'll someday understand why but Nasu haven't made any much change to them yet, not even much information but when Nasu wraps up FGO, then maybe, maybe someday.

I'd also like to add-on. Vlad becoming a full on vampire isn't even strongest out of the vampires entirely on the Gaia side timelines or Alaya timelines. Don't worry to much about these confusing wording but it'll make sense in time.
