So Lancer of Black/Vlad did not fight Ruler specifically because she is Saint Joan of Arc, he respects her as a woman of faith as he is a devout Christian LMAO now you finally know Astolfo is a guy, Fate's most famous femboy The the little girl and the "Mommy" are Assassins of Black and her master. My biggest gripe with the anime is they cut Assassin of Black's Summoning, to be fair it was originally released as a prequel short story to the Apocrphya novels but I still wish they would have shown it, it makes Assassin and her master Reika way more interesting. Without it they feel like they come out of nowhere
