LFG KINO STARTS

Chaolao

Now this, this is peak into the actual Typemoon works, going beyond Fate.

Touko Aozaki, the redhead woman, is the puppeteer who created Shirou's body at the end of Heaven's Feel. You catch a glimpse of her at the alleyway with Rin and Sakura at the end of the third movie. It's this kind of anime multiverse crossover that I love from Nasu's works.

CrypticBoss

YESSS!! I actually just rewatched the entire HF3 movie in these past few days as I was editing it for YouTube and I saw that scene again. It's so cool I love that they just teased her without showing her face. It was one of the biggest reasons I wanted to watch this series

OneTrueReason

Also, you're gonna need someone to get you the chronological order list of the movies, cause this is another example of release order not following chronological order. Even though it is fully intended to be watched in release order, not chronological, the order of events may just help you clarify wtf is going on in the next movies.

OneTrueReason

Kara no kyoukai's chronological order follows as such: 1. Kara no Kyoukai- Movie 2-Murder Speculation (Part 1) 2. Kara no Kyoukai- Movie 4-The Hollow Shrine 3. Kara no Kyoukai- Movie 3-Remaining Sense of Pain 4 .Kara no Kyoukai - Movie 1-Overlooking View 5. Kara no Kyoukai- Movie 5-Paradox Spiral 6. Kara no Kyoukai- Movie 6-Oblivion Recorder 7. Kara no Kyoukai- Movie 7-Murder Speculation (Part 2) 8. Epilogue Especial episode- Kara no Kyoukai- Recalled Out for Summer

Great reaction as always, I would personally suggest to just focusing on the lore (as they don't follow chronological order) and don't worry TOO much about the power levels and explanations behind them. It would be an amazing achievement to just connect all the dots in the movie's first go. On a side note, this was one of the three works Nasu personally are proud of (yes, Tsukihime and FSN are not on the list). It was written with the background of the Japanese economy bubble bursting and suicidal rates skyrocketing. Unfinished building projects were left everywhere, people were out of jobs and society on the whole found no purpose and indulged in nihilism. This was Nasu's own take on this context and it aimed to provide humanism care for those who were overthrown by the recession one way or the other. That's why the whole story is filled with sins, suicides and redemptions, and the title is literally Garden of Sinners. Hopefully, this provides you with some context to understand the point of this show.

You already know I LOVE theorizing and connecting the dots. The pendant incident speaks for itself 😭 so I can't even wait to see how interesting this will get! Glad you enjoyed the reaction and I'll keep this info in mind for the next movie 👍

This is so hype, this is actually one of the few Type Moon things I have not seen yet, I know random spoilers just cause of being in the fandom but I have not fully watched all the movies so I'm excited to be experiencing it for the first time along with you.

CrypticBoss

That actually makes it so much more exciting for me too! Knowing that there might be some people who've never seen it but would watch it through my reactions ❤️ I can't wait to watch the next one!!!

I personally felt KnK is the only series where the anime adaptation matches and, in some aspects, surpasses the original work (except for one particular movie). Really appreciated Ufo's script writings during those years and Yuki (and Kalafina)'s magnificent soundtrack. Definitely must watch.

Jarm957

Yeah I'm definitely hyped to watch them, watched the first three way back after I finished Deen's Stay Night in mid 2009, but I dont think I could find the others as easily for some reason or another, and fell off, watching anime was much harder back then, I was also probs way to young to even be watching it back then lol
