I didn't vote in the poll so I didn't see the results. How did it come out?

I saw the answer in the more recent email so I didn't vote. It's beautiful.

It's either Ai generated or heavily touched up. As with sound, it's the imperfections that make it sound/look real.

Having seen the answer I kinda stand by it being Ai generated as technically different areas have been processed differently, eg. Light and dark areas, before saving the image. (bearing in mind the definition of Ai has been blurred by anyone trying to sell you a home appliance)

no images are 'real'. everything involves artistic cosideration. from size of colloid particles to everything being 'unreal' by being run through CMOS or any other image-capturing technology. Every step in the process introduces some level of interpretation or manipulation, whether it's the choice of lens, the settings on the camera, the post-processing techniques applied, or the algorithms used to render the final image. Even in traditional photography with film, the development process introduces its own set of variables. In the digital age, the use of algorithms, filters, and enhancements further distances the final image from an objective reality. Additionally, the dissemination of images through various platforms and media may involve compression, resizing, and color adjustments, contributing to the continuous transformation of the original capture. Therefore, it's essential to recognize that every image, whether produced by a human or artificial intelligence, undergoes a series of subjective decisions and transformations, making the concept of a "real" image a complex and nuanced consideration.

the only 'real' image is one i stand before and see.
