Now with exciting blinky LED feature.  The packaging with these ones is the full-on scam packaging.  The round one is so cheap that it will be the biggest earner.

I may jump this video in the queue to make as many people aware of the scam as possible.

More fake "molecular vehicle de-icers"

Two more "vehicle molecular de-icers" - one with a high tech flashing LED feature. If you've been caught out by this scam then be aware that if you paid by card on a rogue site then it's worth securing your card. If you bought one on eBay you can open up a dispute (Item not as described). Initially they may offer you a 50% refund to fob you off. It's up to you if you accept that. Do not close the dispute until it has been resolved - even if they ask you to. The reason you will see a lot of adverts for these on sites like Facebook and X is because the scammers do a hard mass-hit to make as much money as possible before people get wise to the scam. I'm almost excited to see what they'll come up with next. Remember - if it seems too good to be true then it probably is.

I got a YT ad for what looked similar to the second device. It claimed you could just press a button, sit it on the dash of your car, and it would defrost the windows. My first reaction to the video was "How long until Clive gets one of these and disassembles on, and then, morally, tears it apart! Clive, you have not disappointed! The ads I were served was this device specifically https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/256339467358 Slightly different design (has button on top, not a switch)

The molecular de-icer communicates wirelessly with the engine-enhancer you pluigged into your car's OBD port. The magnets you attached to your fuel enhance the de-icing effect, and the signal-enhancing sticker on the back of your phone ensures that the rsults are being uploaded to the cloud

Oh shoot. You did a video on the fake car alarm a while back although that one was more sophisticated with an actual lithium battery. I got a couple of those and put one in the car and the other with my little solar light collection in my kitchen window. Those were pretty cool with a little 5v (I think) solar panel in them. I thought those little units were pretty cool for what they were.
