This Temu 100W LED floodlight is exactly what you're expecting....

But beyond that, they have deviated from the normal circuitry arrangement by using an interesting modular approach.

Temu 100W LED floodlight is exactly what you'd expect.....

It's probably just as well this light isn't actually a 100W floodlight, since the basic heatsinking would result in very short LED lifespan. The actual power is more realistic for the size of LED and the heatsink. Note that in common with many grey import LED floodlights, the earth wire is not connected internally, so these lights pose a shock hazard if the circuitry fails. If you accept it for what it is and add the earthing yourself then it's actually a fairly reasonable light. The internal circuitry is novel in the way it differs from other floodlights with the circuitry on the same PCB as the LEDs. Gold standard is to do leakage test both ways. First normal LN then swapped LN. Though in this case it would make naff all difference.

Yeah either supply lead could be accidentally shorted to the case..

Could you maybe do a video on those cheap par dmx disco lights? Would quite like to see how much separation they give you for less than 20 bucks.

I've looked at a few in the past. Very minimalist circuitry and some have very poor electrical separation, posing a risk to every other device on the network.
