No schematic with this one due to lack of enthusiasm about what turned out to be VERY retro circuitry.

Literally the whole unit can be done with one chip and a protected cell these days.

I'm feeling guilty because there's no schematic with this video. When I realised why there was so much circuitry and how it compares with modern one-chip solutions it seemed strangely pointless to spend hours tracing out a fairly complex but obsolete circuit. I may do it later if I can muster up the enthusiasm to trace through retro circuitry. Other than that, it does serve its intended purpose, and does have its uses for small rechargeable items. Mid-play video-adverts are annoying in technical videos, so I don't enable them. If you appreciate that and enjoy my content then you can help support the channel with a contribution of a dollar or two a month on Patreon. That also lets you critique the (advert free) videos before they are released, gives a more direct means of communication with me and also gives access to the regular relaxed Patreon live streams. https://www.patreon.com/bigclive #ElectronicsCreators

I agree. Modern 'chip' circuits are depressing; schematics of 'proper' circuits are fascinating. But it's still a great video.
