It reached just the right fuel-air ratio to ignite from the motor brush sparks.

It's CCTV, so no sound.

Paper shredder goes bang. Mitch had just oiled it with some WD40 and the collection bucket reached just the right fuel-air mixture to ignite from the motor brush sparks. WD40 is not meant for lubricating shredders. You should use shredder oil or spray instead. Always follow the shredder manufacturer’s instructions.

Molly dry lube is great for stuff like that. It never turns into a sticky mess.

Plus all the paper shreds make for lovely surface area to accelerate combustion after the flash!

I just love the placement of the heaviest, dangerousest, object right above the door!! :-D

I thought leaving the now burny box of paper alone was a bad move.

I always lube up my shredder with vegetable oil on a sheet of paper.

Photonicinduction needs to test lubricating a shredder with Nulon's "Start Ya Bastard." Clive can do it as well, but it that kind of a bang is more of a photon thing.

As there should be. A real workshop is always a bit cluttered looking.
