Some Alone Time, Part 10 (Patreon)

Moving faster than he ever had in his entire life, the big shepherd scrambled around the bedroom to find the clothes he had so haphazardly discarded, gathering up his shirt and the pants he had been wearing before diaper time had decided to overtake him.
“Yep! Totally sure!” He called back, his voice a bit steadier this time, but still a little more manic than he was intending. “I just… stubbed my toe on the bedframe! Trying to find the band-aids, th-then I’ll be right out!”
It was a believable fib, at least, and he hoped it afforded him some time to get dressed again. He reached for the tapes on his diaper, ready to peel them back and pop them free, dispose of the bloated, heavy bulk, and promptly pretend that this near-miss never happened.
With his diapers, pacifier, wipes and powder all stuffed back under the bed again, he could get his big boy clothes back on, discreetly toss the evidence after the wife and kid went to bed, and no one would ever be the wiser of what the clever engineer liked to do in his spare time.
“Top shelf in the medicine cabinet.”
So much for that plan.
“Do you need any help, babe?” She was right outside the door now. He could see the shadow of her feet under the frame, and he knew that he had no time to take his diaper off. He yanked his shirt on over his head, fishing frantically to get his arms through the holes, then yanked the hem down before crouching down. He prayed that she wouldn’t open the door and be greeted by his wet, diapered ass pointing right at her.
“Nope! All good!” The big dog fumbled with his pants, his heart nearly stopping in his chest as he heard her hand on the doorknob. He pulled his pants up, stuffing them over the bulk of his diaper, hastily fastened the button, and turned around just in time to see his wife peek around the frame of the door.
“Are you sure everything’s okay?” She looked concerned, her ears alert and one of her eyes squinted subtly. Todd’s dad did his best to assuage her concerns by smiling, but he looked as if he’d been charged by electricity.
“Just fine, babe! How was practice?”
