“Are you sure you don't want me to take him?” 

“Honey, you've had such a long day...” The German shepherd smiled at her husband, slipping two fingers into his belt loops and leaning up to kiss him on the underside of his jawline. The touch sent shivers up his spine, and he found himself melting a little even as she spoke. “I'll take Todd to practice. You just stay here and relax.” 

“Alright, if you're sure...” Feeling frisky, only just home from work, the bigger dog slipped his arm around his wife's waist and leaned in to kiss her in return, a hand on her hip and his larger body surrounding her in warmth. “Maybe later, we could--” 

Any naughty inclinations would have to wait, though, because whatever he was about to say was interrupted by the car horn blaring from outside, as well as the player in question sticking his head out the window and yelling.

“Moooom! Come on, we're gonna be late!” 

“You just take it easy tonight, handsome...” Ignoring her son's demands for the time being, she leaned up again to nuzzle her nose under her husband's chin, deft fingers loosening his tie and opening the top two buttons under his shirt. “I'll bring you home dinner, okay?” 

“Dessert too, with you looking like that.” He panted like a cartoon wolf, making her grin as she pulled back and seductively slipped out the front door. About as seductively as you can leave a suburban house in broad daylight, with a rowdy baseball player insistent on being twenty minutes early to practice already safely in the car.

“Good thing I know just how to spend a couple of hours by myself...”
