I chose HOTD because I personally think there are not enough good zombie novels out there that actually tried to explore the theme on a more detailed level other than, "oh, they fight, they move, they grow and then they would repeat". I know that's the base of it and I don't think that's completely bad but if that's all there is, I kind of think it sucks. More so when zombies in and of itself, have more potential! Even more so, if they're mixed with others zombie themes like Resident Evil, Left for dead, state of decay, World War Z, etc.
