Using my much faster speed I rushed toward her and threw her out the back of her tent before she could react. Rushing out I grabbed her and slammed her into the ground. "Lie to me again and this won't be a nice encounter anymore." I told her with a glare.

"W-Why are you so strong!" she struggled to say.

Thinking for a moment to answer, I decided to tell her the truth.

"Used to be a GOD. Lost my memories because apparantly I was a prick. My daughter hates me and attacked me trying to seal me away. Another God saved my life even if I'm not at full power or have my memories." I told her to let her go.

"Y-Your a GOD?" she whispered in fear, rubbing her throat.

"Not anymore. Hoping to get up there again one day." I said, shrugging my shoulders.

"Now you are helping me or not. Honestly, I don't think I need you could probably break down the doors for the relics or just teleport in." decided to get to know the infamous Raven Branwen. "Not romanticly mind you. My girlfriend is very territorial. She wouldn't be happy."

"I want power. If you used to be a GOD you should be able to make me strong." she said with no fear in her voice. Even if she was visibly shaking.

"That seems like you're giving me an order? You think you're worthy enough." I said glaring down at her with a little bit of draconic presence.

She looked up into my eyes and held their gaze. It was five seconds before she said, "Yes, I do." Looking away quickly after.

Smirking to myself at someone able to hold my gaze who was much weaker. "You want power?" I asked.

"Yes, I do. Give me power I will help you kill Ozpin, Salem, and obtain the Relices. I'll even offer myself." she said, determined.

"Answer me this. Why do you pursue power? Also, what is stopping you from betraying me like you did Ozpin." I asked her genuinely curious.

"One you used to be a GOD and will probably become one again. If I follow you and become half as strong as you that would be stronger than Salem and Ozpin combineed. Two Ozpin lied to me from the start. You told me the truth from the beginning. Three I want power to be able to go back to my daughter and not fear others from taking her away from me." she said listing off her reasons.

"You're not lying." I said. "Okay, I'll help you grow stronger but I want you to join my peerage. As my pawn. It would be a Bishop but both are taken."

"What is a peerage?" she asked.

[Timeskip after explaining.]

"So, if you become say a GOD my race should change to one as well?" she asked.

"Maybe, I know other races work but Godhood is finicky." I told her which myths I know.

"Also, I plan on getting more people in the peerage, some you may know. Like Yang and Ruby." I told her. "Even if that may be difficult because that last time they talked to me I butchered some students from Beacon who tried to rape my daughter."

"I don't care who joins that works for me either way. That allows me to be closer to my daughter." she said, waving her hand dismissivly. "Wait... your daughter the one that betrayed you?"

"No, I have others in my peerage right now." I told her. "You will meet them soon. I'll tell you about them before we go see them. Also, what about your tribe?"

"Vernal can take care of them. She is stronger than everyone else. I trained her after all. Only came back as a reason to trick my brother about becoming the Spring Maiden and to get away from Ozpin." she said.

"Okay, I'm going to do the ritual now for you to join my peerage." I told her to pull out a pawn piece. Even if a knight may be good for her. A pawn is the best because depending on the situation she should promote for what she needs.

"Raven, do you want to join my family? If you do, I'll protect you and make you strong and bring you back together with your daughter. In return you will be my pawn and defend me in times of need and your fellow family members and they you." I said holding the pawn piece out to her.

"Is that neccessary?" she asked.

I glared at her because I thought it was cool even if it was cringe.

"Fine fine fine. Yes, I do." she said, raising her hands up in surrender.

Pushing the pawn piece into her chest she glowed for a second before it died down. After it died down I saw that she now had streaks of red in her hair similar to my hair color. Even if it still was mainly black.

[Raven Branwen has became Mavros' Pawn]

"Welcome to the family Raven. Let's go steal some relics ourselves. By the way, welcome to immortality. At least the unaging kind, not the unkillable." I told her before opening up a portal and walking into it.

"WAIT! Immortality, you didn't explain this, get back here!" she yelled, chasing me into the portal set for Mistral's vault.

----------

Coming out of my portal we found ourselves in front of a giant golden door. Wondering what the door was made of, I used to observe it. Which instantly made my head start hurting.

I did get a panel pop-up for observation, but it was like it couldn't be read. The only information I got was that the vault housed the relic of knowledge. Dismissing the panel I looked toward Raven.

"So, this is the vault. Are you going to do the honors?" I asked her.
