"I never get to do so many things at conventions because everyone always wants to take pictures of me. Going with you was a brilliant idea! Your mean, grumpy face scared everyone away!" she giggled.
"Well... thanks for the ticket, Milky-hime. This turned out to be a rather pleasant surprise," Issei expressed more sincerely than he had anticipated.
"Oh! I never told you my name, did I?" the girl suddenly realized, placing a hand on her chin.
"Come to think of it... I was so caught up in the excitement that I never bothered to ask your name either," Issei admitted, looking at her with a touch of curiosity.
"Issei Hyoudou... but don't bother remembering it. We'll probably never see each other again," he responded with skepticism, not expecting any further encounters.
"But what if I want to see you again?!" she retorted in a childish manner.
Issei couldn't help but laugh at her playful persistence. At this point, he had grown accustomed to her energetic innocence.
"I'm Serafall!" she declared with a bright smile, awaiting his reaction.
He looked at her curiously, "No surname?"
"Since you and I are on a first-name basis, just call me Serafall. And I'll call you Issei-chan, alright?!" she chirped with enthusiasm.
"Alright... nice meeting you then, Serafall," Issei waved as he made his way towards his motorcycle.
To his surprise, his motorcycle hadn't been towed, and he couldn't help but feel a stroke of luck.
As he balanced his souvenir bags and prepared to mount his motorcycle, he looked up and saw Serafall standing right beside him. She fidgeted for a moment, her gaze fixed on him.
"Issei-chan... can I go for a ride on your bike? Pleeease!" she pleaded, her eyes filled with hope.
"Don't you have to go home or something?" he asked, his confusion evident.
"Yeah... but maybe you could give me a ride?!" she suggested with a suggestive smile.
Issei let out a sigh, contemplating the consequences. "I'm going to lose all my street cred if people see some otaku magical girl riding with me."
The girl locked her fingers and gave him the most adorable expression she could muster. "Issei-chan... don't make me beg you!"
"Alright, fine... get on," he relented. In a split second, the energetic Serafall found herself on the backseat of the bike. She securely tied her bags to the back and immediately wrapped her arms around Issei's waist.
"C'mon, let's go fast!" she exclaimed, her happiness palpable.
"Are you sure you can handle it? This thing is the fastest motorcycle in the world... custom-built," Issei cautioned.
"GO GO GO!" she cheered, her excitement leaving no room for doubt. Issei took it as a resounding yes.
Deciding to test the limits of the girl's resolve, Issei began driving recklessly and dangerously at high speed through the city.
"I'll take her over the bridge," Issei chuckled to himself as he approached a large bridge with elegant arches.
Swiftly, he veered off the road and onto the arch, ascending to the beam above the bridge. With a mischievous grin, he popped a wheelie, half-expecting Serafall to freak out or scream. To his surprise, she seemed ecstatic, enjoying the thrill of his daredevil stunt.
"Do you still think I can't handle it?" Serafall asked, spreading her arms wide and relishing the view from the bridge arch.
"We're about to find out," Issei grinned, pressing a switch in front of him. Flames erupted from the exhaust, and Serafall instinctively clung onto his waist as the bike surged forward, gaining even more speed.
Issei raced at an exhilarating pace until they reached the top of the bridge arch, then launched off the side.
Their motorcycle soared through the air, covering a considerable distance before gracefully landing on top of a nearby parking garage. Throughout the daring feat, Serafall's joyous shrieks filled the air, echoing her exhilaration, "WOOOOOOOHHHOOOOO!"
As they slowed down after the landing, Issei glanced back to check on Serafall. She appeared overjoyed and showed no signs of fear. Issei was genuinely impressed by her unwavering spirit and couldn't help but laugh, "You're the first girl I've ever taken on that stunt. I'm amazed you didn't scream or cry."
"Are you kidding me?! That was incredible! You're incredible!" she exclaimed, a bright smile gracing her face.
'I never thought I'd meet such a cool human girl who shares my interests in Drag So-Ball Z and daredevil motorcycle rides. She's a real gem. If she weren't a magical girl, she'd definitely be my type,' Issei thought, momentarily captivated by her presence.
"Where do you live, Serafall? It's getting late, and I should probably take you back," Issei said, shaking off his distraction.
"Oh, I live in a small house nearby, hosted by some really nice people. It's close to Kuoh Academy, on Third Street," she replied.
Issei nodded and drove down the parking garage, heading towards the specified location. As they stopped at a red light, he glanced back at her. "Serafall is a unique name. Are you from another country or something?"
"Something like that. I came to take care of my sister who lives here," Serafall explained.
"That's kind of you," Issei replied as the light turned green.
After driving for a while, they finally arrived on her street. Serafall pointed at a grand mansion and exclaimed, "There it is, the little house I stay in!"
Issei raised an eyebrow, thinking, 'Little house? This is where all the wealthy people in town live. And isn't this area known for devil activity? I hope she stays safe while she's here.'
After dropping Serafall off, Issei was taken aback when she unexpectedly hugged him. "Today was so much fun, Issei-chan! We should hang out again soon, okay?!"
"Sure thing," he replied, meeting her gaze for a brief moment. She smiled warmly as she hugged him. "Oh, by the way, do you have a cell phone? I'd love to have your email."
Issei hesitated for a moment before realizing that exchanging contact information wouldn't hurt. "Yeah, I have a cell phone. Let's exchange emails," he agreed, exchanging information with her.
As he watched Serafall wave goodbye and walk towards the grand mansion, Issei couldn't help but feel a mix of curiosity and intrigue about this extraordinary girl he had met at the convention. Little did he know that their encounter would mark the beginning of an unexpected and thrilling chapter in his life.
