Sona didn't have to finish her sentence. All of us knew where she was leading with this. He could be the big G. The father of the angels.

"I see... Thanks for this information, Sona. Now, Rias, you have been silent through this ordeal. Do you have anything to add?" Sirzech asked, causing me to sigh.

I knew he wanted me to try and defend myself so he could reprimand me or something, but I wouldn't let him have the satisfaction.

"No, I do not. Sona answered everything."

I saw his eyes narrow slightly, but he shook his head, looking at Serafall. "We must get the leaders of the factions together. If we try to solve this ourselves, it may lead to another war."

"Sirzech, if they learn that Mavros may be the big G. They may try and fight us anyway."

"We don't have a choice."

"Fine, I'll relay the message. I'm sure everyone wants to know what's going on. Sona, get your peerage together. You're going home."

"B-" Sona went to speak before a glare from her sister silenced her. "Okay, right away."

"Rias, you go and do the same." My brother told me.

I didn't have anything to say, so I just nodded and left the room. It wasn't like I was going to win that argument.

Sona left the room with me, and we both looked at each other, and a sigh escaped both our lips.

"I wish we didn't have to do this," I said. "I know they want us to go home to protect us, but it isn't like we will be any safer. We are against Ophis and another deity that was able to enslave her."

"They won't listen to reason. They were trying to negotiate peace between the factions, and this probably destroyed any chances."

"You're right. I just hope everything works out in the end."

Prime's POV

"Why does Meliodas have to pass this trial? It was his power originally." Elizabeth asked, worried, Zaneri the druid helping us keep her eyes on Meliodas and answered.

"For him to regain his power, he must erase his emotions. If he doesn't, nothing will change. Each time he has lost himself in his emotions, he has unleashed his wrath. Causing a lot of destruction."

"Ahhhhhhhh!" Meliodas started to scream in pain. Causing Elizabeth to grow even more concerned.

"What's happening to him?!"

Before Zaneri could answer, I answered her.

"A living hell. He is forced to live through one of his worst memories. Seeing the one he loved, die over and over, and nothing he does can change the outcome."

"That's too cruel. Why does he need to go through this pain?" Elizabeth said tears were forming in her eyes.

"Do you remember the times Meliodas have gone berserk?" I asked Elizabeth, who nodded her head. "Well, imagine those times, but Meliodas is 7 times stronger. If he had that kind of strength, he could raze Britannia before coming to his senses."

"Like with what happened to Danafall." Elizabeth stated, I knew it wasn't a question, so I didn't answer.

'Time for our hell.'

'Are you sure about this? Do we need to go through this training?'

'Once we begin, you will see why? For we both will be going through this trial.'

"Zaneri, put me in as well," I told the former Goddess who had a shocked look. "Also, no matter what, do not wake me up."

"Are you sure, Prime? You are capable of controlling your powers as if it's second nature to you. Why do you need this training?"

"The trial is different for everyone taking it. Some of it's to gain control over their emotions. For others, it's to learn that their power has limits even they don't know of. Some need to try to overcome a mental burden... Please, just cast the spell."

"Okay, I understand. If you would go to such lengths to plead for the trial. I won't stop you."

Raising her fingers at my forehead, I dropped all my defenses. For if I fought back against her, the spell wouldn't work. She started chanting before putting me on the same spell she did. Meliodas. However, it is a much stronger variant.

As the spell took hold, I felt myself going into a pseudo-slumber. Saying one last thing to Zaneri.

"If I take too long. Tell them I'll catch up. We're running out of time."

"I'll let them know, Prime."

Opening my eyes, I found myself in my old home. It was a place not unlike the dimensional gap, where it lies in between worlds. However, my home lies in between multiverses.

I built my home here because, for those who can survive here, it's almost like a reactor. The longer you stay, the more stress your body is under. In turn, your body is constantly growing stronger. Speaking of it, it seems in this dream my arm grew back.

"Daddy, you're home!" Freezing at the voice, I felt someone tackle me in a hug. Not reciprocating the hug out of shock, I was jarred out of my thoughts by the voice again. "Daddy, what's wrong, did I do something wrong?"

Looking at the voice, my suspicions were correct about the identity of the speaker. Hikari... of course, this is what my hell would be.

"No, you didn't do anything wrong. I just have some things on my mind." I can already feel the hunger rising in her presence. The abyss wants me to devour her. Even if she isn't the real one.

I'm guessing the way to survive this hell is to either come to terms with devouring Hikari. Or find a way around it.

Either way, it won't be easy.

'I'm here with you. Know you aren't alone."

'I just hope-'

As the scene changed, I felt my mouth being filled with a copper taste. I looked at my hands and saw blood staining them.
