Guess who got a GPD Win 2 in the mail a few days ago?

Yes, it actually happened! Special thanks go out to Victor Coleiro (aka. vcoleiro in the gpd_devices Discord server) for hooking me up with this beauty. And yes, I'm already porting the Android essentials to this thing!

That aside, not everyone of you knows this yet, but I tend to fill my compilation downtime (Android and other big projects do take a while to compile) with KOEI's Warriors games (Samurai Warriors, Dynasty Warriors, Warriors Orochi, etc...) which are known for their (rather bad) console to PC ports.

Well... one of those badly ported console games is Samurai Warriors 4-II.

Not because its a bad game, or the performance is bad, or because it has a locked framerate or anything of the sort... no... its simply bad because it doesn't support XInput gamepads...

This is somewhat of an issue for GPD Win 2 owners, or those that will be joining the former rather soon... as GPD decided to omit proper DInput support on their latest iteration of the device.

Don't worry however, I have you covered, and developed a simple copy-paste fix for all of you that should add proper XInput support to whatever DInput game you are running... Simply grab the attached ZIP, unpack it in your games' installation folder, and enjoy your now properly working gamepad.

You can find the sourcecode, as usual, over at my github.
