Should I do the pinup in the old, more photorealistic style, or continue the fullpainted direction?

I seriously couldn't vote. Either way looks fantastic and I enjoy them both. I would say to do your art in whatever way you enjoy the most.

Look mate I'd accept borderline stick figure drawings if it continued the Fallout stuff. Art should be fun; do what makes you happy

I personally prefer the old style. Though if one is easier/quicker for you to do, I wouldn't mind if you leaned on that instead.
