This is why 2023 is going be a great year for WarLore (Patreon)

Hey everyone, and happy 2023! I wanted to announce some goals, upcoming projects, and benefits for my patrons. I know I'm a niche within a niche but having people interested in what I do is so astonishingly heartwarming. 💞

I've got 3 tidbits for you to check out, and I've tried to boldface the interesting stuff. 

TWO VIDEOS 

That's a lot of projects, but that's because I'm going to try a new commitment - two videos a month. 

This means that if you only want to spend $2-5, set a monthly limit. (I doubt I'll ever do more than 2 vids a month.) I will absolutely not be disappointed. 

I get about $15 per month from YouTube revenues (pretty small in comparison to Patreon income of, currently, about $90 per video, each of which takes quite a few hours to do) and I'd like to grow that. To grow the channel - and this patreon - I'm just going to have to enjoy creating more material. 

My quality is "fine," and while I do want to improve my editing skills, I see this commitment to two vids as an opportunity to get better at the project management of it all. We'll see how it goes; my general goal is 24 videos this year. 

COMMITMENTS TO YOU 

To incentivize people to try out the higher tier, I'll be creating four polls (one per quarter) filled with video ideas gathered from comments as well as from polling/discussions on the patreon itself. 

While I will be conducting polls and the occasional post on YouTube as well for ideas and tips, they won't be binding. 

Assuming I get at least, say, 10 voters on a poll, I'll consider it binding for sometime that season! 

PROJECTS

The following projects are in-progress.

1. Interview with Downfall author Mark Barber, including some behind-the-scenes information on the book and other novel projects afterwards

2. Videos on the Nomads and especially Bakunin

3. A video about Gundam. (Not charging for this, just excited)

4. A video about the Druze, (hopefully!) involving a meeting with a Druze community leader

5. Setting video with context & interviews on the Swedish game Forbidden Lands

6. "The Worst Units In Infinity" with a breakdown

7. Durgama Crisis Retrospective

8. Uprising 1-3 (context, events, and modern Japan) for Infinity
