AkoHina MondayWIP January 2024 (Patreon)

Not Monday for everyone but I'll be busy later so I'll do a little early post. I'll be posting WIPs every monday from now on. I've been wanting to post WIPs on a schedule but I wasn't too sure what day I would choose, and I eventually decided on Mondays. Mondays kinda suck in general so this'll get me excited about upcoming Mondays since I like rambling and sharing my work/progress a little too much, and hopefully this makes your Mondays more exciting.

This will also allow me to actually talk more about the process and the works after getting a significant portion done, as posting WIPs too frequently kind of leaves me in a "what do I even say with this post" sort of state.

I've took what I said and actually put it into practice, and considerably slowed and calmed down the working process. This allows me to work on finer details and not be lazy or take shortcuts. In fact, while I was typing this out I found a few filled areas in the mask that wasn't supposed to be there, neat. Hopefully the increased attention to care and detail is already apparent. Currently finishing up the keyframe outlines and starting on the background, my goal for this current piece is to make sure I get the colors/tone/lighting right, as I think that goes a long way to how hot a piece becomes.
