Funny thing, I didn't like Night of the Living Dead the first time I saw it. I was young, stupid, and wanted movies with great special effects and good acting. Also, I saw a colourized version of the movie which didn't help (green zombies). It wasn't until I saw Assault on Precinct 13 that I realized you don't need special effects and acting to make a movie great. Seen it a few times since and it's a 5 from me.

Great films I might have to upgrade my DVD to Blu-Ray for Night of the Living dead. Arrow Video put out a great package and transfer of the Crazies that film is madness!! I agree with your ratings of both films.
