A small report about animations. I didn't think I'd have to write about COwgirl, but it just so happened.
I had to re-render several scenes that I was not very happy with. The animation rendering knocked me out of kalia a bit, like as always. Not to mention the scenes where the physics of grass (which is almost invisible) caused the collapse of my entire PC system and it also played on the thin strings of my nerves. I also started maniacally remaking some scenes with mistakes. From small ones where there were excessively sharp movements and when the pupils of her eyes passed through the texture of her eyelids. Up to two scenes where the shadows started a crazy dance.
Attention on the leg. It's like the shadows have their own party.
For these two scenes. I had to make a render with a large number of samples (in the range of 500-700). This is a lot, I usually use 100-200. After that, I caught myself thinking that I could endlessly continue to edit some moments of animation that no one might notice and stopped :).I've had this since the days of Lady D animation. The desire to edit, edit and edit the animation. I'm struggling with it. And while I was doing all this, I didn't orient the voice actor a little. Now I am at the stage when everything is ready, my sound is ready, as well as the render. There is literally a render left for a couple of hours for the scene that I showed above. The voice actor said that his sound for the character came soon and after I get it there will be a release of this animation. Also, due to the fact that render was running, I could not give Anna time in terms of animation. So I decided to take care of its textures.
Now I have actively started to study this aspect. I have improved my work with the environment. Now it's time to figure out how to work with textures and make them more attractive. I changed her appearance a little. Made her more responsive to light and shadow.
There is still a little need to correct in the area of the eyes, eyebrows and lips. BUT these are small things.
Within scenes with full lighting, the changes are quite noticeable.
I didn't touch her form. And I don't plan to. There will probably be minor changes in terms of the splendor of the lips and similar elements. But I don't think I'll go any further.
I have also discovered a number of possibilities in terms of adding such elements.
Don't worry, she won't have such a spot on her ass. I was just doing the tests. And I chose her ass for the area for work.
Previously, I just managed with a red slap mark, now it will be possible to play with bump textures without changing the structure of the model itself. I'm also thinking of adding a small element of conspiracy theories around Anna's abilities.
This is a rough sketch. The effects are still being worked out :).
And in general, as I have already said, Frozen 2 will have a rather interesting plot in my opinion from the point of view of the prospects of working with Disney Princesses. But there will be more about this when I put an end to working with Cowgirl.
As soon as I release Cowgirl, I will systematically release reports on Frozen 2. That's all for now. I'm sorry for the delay. But I already think that there will be a release soon. Don't get sick, don't get hung up on little things like me and all the best :).
