Here are some things I want to put more time into in the coming months:

• Animation
• Grabbed & Gagged Pack
• More stickers/merch
• BL3 micro-updates/other interactive stuff?

Animation is the big one. I feel like I've been saying forever that I want to animate more often... but the last time I actually posted an animation was almost a whole year ago! That's pretty disappointing.

This year, I really want to make animation more of a regular thing. I don't know if I can do one every month, but we'll set them up in a similar way to Bonus Pics: $12+ patrons get WIPs, all patrons get completed animations, and then they'll get posted publicly sometime later. $10+ patrons will also get hi-res versions and individual frames.

Right now, I have an idea for a new animation that I'm going to start working on tomorrow! I'm really excited to get started on it. It's a bit simple, but I think you guys will love it.

Now, you might be thinking: "Jam, that's all well and good, but animating is a very time-consuming activity, to say nothing of drawing, programming, and designing, producing, and shipping merch. How do you plan to make time for this stuff?"

Unfortunately, I do have a catch.

POLLLLLLSSSS

I've mentioned this in the past, but I have a bit of a love-hate relationship with the polls. I don't like having "competitive" rewards, because they inevitably lead to some people feeling frustrated and left out. Polls are by far the thing I get the most unhappy comments about. 99% of the time, when one of you guys has a complaint, it's poll-related. Understandably so!

Also, to be honest—and maybe this is related, I'm not sure—lately I'm feeling less and less excited to draw the winners. They can still be fun, to be sure! Recently I've tried injecting a bit of variety, like with the Goth Domme and Luna pics. But other times it feels like I'm just mechanically churning them out like some kind of weird horny robot. That can't be good for you guys or me. Might be time to pull back a bit.

And so:

Animating is fun and exciting, but it takes time. I have a lot of things I want to work on and a finite amount of time. At this point, I'm not sure if it makes sense to be doing two polls each and every month while other stuff keeps getting pushed to the side.

I originally planned to make this change permanent, but let's just call it a three-month trial for now. Once April comes around, we'll see how things are feeling. If it seems like one poll per month isn't really working out, then we can go back to doing two.

"No, Jam, no! How could you betray me like this!? How will I live without two character polls every month!?"

OK, I'm probably making too much out of this. Still, I just want to be really clear: This does not mean there will be less content. I'm doing this specifically so that I can put time toward other projects and keep creating fun stuff for you. You guys are giving me your hard-earned money and I want to make sure you get something worth paying for. I take that very seriously.
